Terms of Service & Privacy Policy for Emergence Casino ("the Site"), a free, fan-made Gears of War–themed game floor. This single document covers both how you may use the Site and how your information is (and isn't) handled.

1. Acceptance

By loading or playing the Site — in a web browser or as a Discord Activity — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Fan project & ownership

This is an unofficial, non-commercial fan project. Gears of War and all related names, marks, and artwork are © The Coalition / Microsoft and belong to their respective owners. The Site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them.

3. Entertainment only — no real wagering

All games use virtual credits with no real-world or monetary value. Nothing here is gambling, and credits can never be bought, sold, cashed out, or exchanged for anything of value. The Site is for entertainment only and is intended for adults 18+. Please play responsibly.

4. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer for harm, or disrupt the Site or other players.
Don't misrepresent the Site as official or affiliated with any rights holder.
Don't use the Site where it would be illegal to do so.

5. "As is" — no warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Gameplay, virtual balances, and availability may change or break at any time without notice.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the creator is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, including any loss of virtual credits or progress.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated at any time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Privacy Policy

1. The short version

The Site has no accounts, no servers collecting your data, no cookies, and no analytics or tracking. It does not collect, sell, or share personal information.

2. What's stored on your device

Your virtual wallet balance and game progress are saved in your browser's localStorage, on your own device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser storage erases it.

3. Playing inside Discord

When launched as a Discord Activity, the Site runs inside Discord's client and its network requests are routed through Discord's proxy. The Site does not request your Discord identity, friends, or messages. Anything handled by Discord itself is governed by Discord's Privacy Policy.

4. Third parties

Fonts and game assets are served from the Site itself; there are no third-party trackers, ad networks, or external analytics.

5. Children

The Site is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed at children.
